AAPP update release 8.6 is now available for you to download from the “Software Downloads” section of the web site. For a list of the changes, please see the Release Note that is linked from Release History. There are quite a lot of small changes in this release, but the core products (i.e. level 1 brightness temperatures) should not change.
As well as the code, we have also updated:
– the install_aapp8.sh script
– some of the test cases have been updated to use 2020 data: noaa19_test.tgz, metopb_test.tgz, viirs_to_cris.tgz, viirs_cris_maia4_run.tgz.Please let us know, via the Helpdesk, if you have any problems.
