    Dear RTTOV users,

Considering the OPAC aerosol components, we have 4 types of minerals with specific geometrical properties defined in https://www.ecmwf.int/node/11020. Suppose we have a numerical atmospheric model with several dust size (micro-gram) distributions as bellow:
    0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-6, …

How could we employ the simulated dust concentrations with the above mentioned size distributions in RTTOV, using the OPAC or CAMS aerosol components? I mean should we define the simulated dust concentrations (an average of all size classes) as Mineral(coa.mode) alone? Or should we define them as a combination of, say, Mineral(acc.mode) and Mineral(coa.mode), or maybe other combinations?

    Best wishes
    Amir Nikfal
