This announcement is for users of OPS-LRS.
A new BRD file is available for IASI on Metop-B. You can find it as usual at https://nwp-saf.eumetsat.int/downloads/aapp_data_files/OPS-LRS/aux_data/. The easiest way to download these auxiliary files is to use the “get_aux_files.sh” script.

EUMETSAT plan to update the reduced spectra database on board IASI-B on February 16th 2023. Therefore you will need to download the new file before then, otherwise it is likely that OPS-LRS will fail.
