    I found I couldn’t compile RTTOV on my Mac running High Sierra. The error message I got: Compiling RTTOV…
    xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun

    The solution was to issue the following command on my Mac: xcode-select –install

    This seemed to sort things out and then RTTOV could be compiled including the python wrapper.
