For those who haven’t heard from elsewhere … the NOAA-15 and 19 satellites are now being decommissioned, following the turn-off of NOAA-18 on 6th June. Global data distribution has ceased (as of 16th June) and we expect direct broadcast to stop soon also.
It’s 27 years since the launch of NOAA-15, and the NWP SAF has provided AAPP support for the whole of the mission.
