Issues processing HIRS from metop-b

Hello,
We receive metop-b via driect broadcast, and the HIRS data stopped processing for us roughly a day ago. Does anyone have any advice as to what we are doing wrong?

We are running aapp like:
AAPP_RUN_METOP -i ‘HIRS AMSU-A MHS’ -g ‘HIRS’ -d (input) -o (output)

and the error we are seeing is:

Hi Jay,

You are not doing anything wrong. EUMETSAT turned the instrument off on 21st Jan. To quote from their Weekly Operations Schedule:

Detail: The Metop-B HIRS instrument recovery since 17/03/2023 has not been successful. EUMETSAT has, therefore, decided to switch off the instrument permanently.

Services: HIRS Level 1 – Metop-B, EARS-ATOVS, HIRS AHRPT Metop-B
