    This announcement is for users of OPS-LRS.

    New BRD and GRD files are available for IASI on Metop-B and Metop-C. You can find them as usual at https://nwp-saf.eumetsat.int/downloads/aapp_data_files/OPS-LRS/aux_data/. The easiest way to download them is to use the “get_aux_files.sh” script. The files are:

    This is a routine update to implement new scan mirror reflectivity tables.

    EUMETSAT plan to implement these updates on 21st October. You will need to download them before then, otherwise it is likely that OPS-LRS will fail.

    Update: EUMETSAT now plan to make this change on the 20th October.
