GIIRS/FY-4B rttov coefficients(v12.3 & v13)

Hello,
Is it possible to get the rttov coefficients (the both of the version 12.3 and 13.0) for GIIRS/FY-4B calculated for 54 layers instead of that for 101 layers ?

Hi,

Please see my response to your help desk query. We would generally recommend coefficients on 101L for hyperspectral sounders as the simulation errors are smaller.

Thanks for providing RTTOV v13 54L coefficients.

I am working for developing data assimilation system for NWP which has used RTTOV 54L coefficients for satellite data assimilation.

For RTTOV v12, it will be good if you provide 54 coefficients based on v7 predictors.
