AAPP 8.4 patch installation

    Dear all,
    We have just tried to install the last AAPP 8.4 patch. After tar command, we execute make command and we got this error message: “No rule to make target eccodes_put_l1c_hiras.o”
    Checking the file “Makefile” inside “AAPP/src/tools_eccodes/libecbufr”, we saw that it contains this
    object file in OBJ variable but there is no eccodes_put_l1c_hiras.F file in the directory.
    Please, Could you help us? Any idea?

    Dear Angel,

    You are right, there is a file missing from AAPP_update_8.4.tgz. It is present in the full 8.4 release, which is why nobody has noticed until now. Thank you for pointing this out.

    I have posted the missing file for you at ftp://ftp.eumetsat.int/pub/NWPSAF/aapp_data_files/miscellaneous/eccodes_put_1c_hiras.F, just copy it to AAPP/data/tools_eccodes/libecbufr directory and re-run make.

    We will replace the patch file with a fixed one as soon as possible.
